Brownie Recipe




This brownie recipe will remind you of your moms brownies. I loved it when after school we would walk through the door and we would be hit with a delicious brownie aroma. :) She knew that brownies were my favorite dessert. I hope this recipe reminds you of a great memory!



Brownies

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup Cocoa
1/4 cup Butter or Shortening
1/4 cup Applesauce
2 tbsp Sweet*10 liquid
2 tbsp Vanilla
2 each Eggs, beaten, or substitute
1 cup Flour
1/2 tsp Salt
1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/4 cup Chopped nuts

DIRECTIONS:

1. Sift cocoa, flour, salt and baking sodaand mix well. Add vanilla, sweetener, eggs, stiruntil well-blended and add the dry ingredients. Mixuntil well-blended, stir in chopped nuts, pour into agreased 8" square pan. Level batter smoothly. Bakeat 325 F for 20 minutes. Cut into 16 squares.

Yield: 16 Brownies
