Diabetic Beef Recipes

These diabetic beef recipes are easy to make, full of juicy beef flavor, and a hit at the dinner table.

Beef is so versatile. There are so many different types of beef available. Surely you won't get sick of eating it! My husband loves beef teriyaki, beef hamburgers and in the winter, beef can make a really incredible beef stew.

Beef Teriyaki
Prep: 15 Minutes
Juicy and full of flavor. This quick and easy diabetic recipe goes great with any side. I usually serve this with some stir fry vegetables and a very small side of brown rice. Delicious, healthy and easy to make.

Beef And Bean Burritos
Prep: 20 Minutes
Pinto beans, green chilies, beef round steak, fresh cilantro, cheese, and garlic. All of these ingredients make a very flavorful beef burrito. Add a great side salad with salsa as your dressing and you have a healthy Mexican dish.

Beef Stroganoff
Prep: 25 Minutes
You have to be a beef stroganoff fan to like this recipe. My in-laws can't get enough stroganoff. So, when i whipped out this recipe they were pleasantly surprised. Especially since almost all of the ingredients are fat free.

Beef Stew
Prep: 15 Minutes
This is tomato soup with an extra kick. So easy to prepare! It's a quick dinner or lunch recipe that just about anyone will enjoy.

Stuffed Burgers
Prep: 15 Minutes
With this hamburger recipe you can pick your stuffing. That's right, pick from blue cheese, jalapeno peppers, salsa, sauteed mushrooms and much more. It gives your burger an extra kick that tastes delicious.

Chili Con Carne
Prep: 15 Minutes
With few ingredients and lots of flavor, this recipe is a win win. I added more red pepper to give it an extra punch of hotness. Serve over rice or with cornbread.

Beef Cooking Tips

1. Form your patty, make a deep impression with your thumb right smack in the middle. This will prevent bulging in the middle and the deep impression will disappear as the meat cooks.

2. Never press your burger down with a spatula while cooking. Instead, poke holes in it so it will retain juice and flavor. Flip with tongs.

3. Do not let your beef reach room temperature. Also cook immediately after taking out of the refrigerator. Harmful bacteria can thrive and grow and room temp.

4. You can save money by buying larger cuts of meat and cutting them into smaller pieces.
