Diabetic Citrus Candy



This diabetic citrus candy is sweet, tart, and refreshing all at the same time. I hope you find these to be a summer favorite with your family.






Sunny Citrus Cubes

16 servings

Measure Ingredient4 tablespoon Unflavored gelatin

3/4cup Unsweetened grapefruit juice

2 cup Unsweetened orange juice boiling

1 teaspoon Orange extract

2 tablespoon Sugar

1/4cup Walnuts, chopped (optional)

1. Soften gelatine in grapefruit juice. Add orange juice, orange extract and sugar. Stir until dissolved.

2. Pour into 8" square pan. Chill until partially set. Sprinkle with walnuts if you wish.

yield: 16 pieces, 2 inch x 2 inch 1 serving without nuts contains 24 Calories - 1/2 fruit and vegetable choice. 1 serving with nuts contains 33 Calories - 1/2 fruit and vegetable choice 1/2 fats and oils choice.
