Diabetic Pasta Recipes

These diabetic pasta recipes are flavorful. I am more of a marinara type of gal and my husband is a pesto man. Either way, pasta is one of our favorite foods.

According to The American Diabetes Association, pasta is ok to eat! You can read further about what they have to say about starchy foods. That is good news for most of us!

Cooking Pasta Tips

1. Pasta needs a lot of water and a big pot. This makes it impossible for the pasta to stick together.

2.Use filtered water to cook your pasta in. Pasta retains all impurities and strange flavors.

3. Never mix different types of pasta in one pot.

4.Start timing your pasta when the water boils. Most pasta cooks between 8 and 12 minutes.
