Diabetic Waldorf Salad Recipe




This diabetic waldorf salad recipe is a perfect mix of sweet and salty. I love any type of nut on my salad, it gives it a crunch and a saltiness that I crave. I know this will be a family hit.



Waldorf Salad


Servings: 7= 1/7 of the salad recipe 1 cup Celery, sliced

1 cup Seedless green grapes, halved

1 cup Apple, diced

4 Dates

1/2 cup Walnuts

1/4 cup Mayonnaise

2 tbsp Dry white wine

Lettuce Leaves 1. Place celery, grapes, apple, dates, and walnuts into a bowl.

2. Blend mayonnaise with wine; pour into bowl. Stir to blend with celery, fruit and walnuts. Use slotted serving spoon to serve.

Food Exchange per servings: 2 FRUIT EXCHANGES + 1 FAT EXCHANGE + 1 VEGETABLE EXCHANGE; CAL: 105
