A truly wonderful chicken dinner. Ready for the table in 30 minutes.


1 can (10 ¾ ounces) reduced-fat cream of chicken soup

½ cup fat-free milk

¾ teaspoon Italian seasoning

¼ teaspoon thyme

Nonstick cooking spray

4 boneless skinless chicken breasts

2 medium apples, cored and sliced

1 small onion, sliced into thin rings


Combine soup, milk, and seasonings into small bowl and set aside.

Lightly coat large nonstick skillet with nonfat cooking spray. Heat over medium heat 1 minute . Add chicken and cook 5 minutes on each side until browned.  Remove from skillet and set aside.


Add apples and onion to skillet.  Cook until onion is tender, then stir in soup mixture and chicken.  Reduce heat to low, and cover; simmer 5 to 10 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.
