Sugar Free Apple Butter

Sugar free apple butter - It's quick to make and yummy to eat. Apple butter can be used multiple ways. Put a dallop of it on your pork chops instead of applesauce. You can mix it with cottage cheese, grape nuts, and raisins for a delicious breakfast. You can even add it to your oatmeal to give it some flavor that is good for you! Oh this recipe is a vegan one as well. Make extra and enjoy.....

Fat-free/sugar-free quick apple butter

Yield: 1 servings

Measure Ingredient:

42 ounces Unsweetened Applesauce; Jar
12 ounces Apple juice; frozen concentrate, Unsweetened
6 teaspoons Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Allspice
1/4 teaspoon Ground Cloves

1. Blend ingredients in blender until smooth (I do it in two batches). Place in heavy, large pan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover with lid ajar and cook 1 hour and 20 minutes. Stir every once in a while.

2. Cool and store in refrigerator. Will turn darker as it cooks. Ymmmm GREAT on rice cakes for a quick treat!!! NOTES : Serves: 1 quart Preparation time: 5 minutes SOURCE:
