Sugar Free Brownie Recipe
This sugar free brownie recipe is tasty even without the sugar. It calls for whole wheat flour instead of white. I can appreciate a dessert recipe that is trying to come up with a healthier version. The banana in the recipe makes it nice and sweet.
Sugar - free brownies
Yield: 24 Brownies
Measure Ingredient:
1/3 cup Chopped walnuts3 tablespoons Unsweetened apple juice concentrate1 teaspoon Baking powder1/3 cup Cocoa2 cups Whole wheat flour1 1/3 cup Unsweetened apple juice concentrate1/2 cup Oil1 Egg white1 medium Banana, mashed Preparation :
1. Soak walnuts in 3 tablespoons apple juice concentrate. Sift baking powder and cocoa into bowl with flour and make a well. Measure 1 1/3 cups apple juice concentrate, oil, egg white and banana into measuring cup and add all at once to dry ingredients and mix. 2. Spread in 13 x 9 inch pan sprayed with nonstick spray. Sprinkle with walnuts on batter evenly and smooth nuts into batter with back of spoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cover when slightly warm. Cut in 24 servings and store in freezer to keep fresh. Yield 24 brownies.
